In 2022, the Metro League will replace the existing City League structure in Brisbane, with the Metro League Cup replacing the City League cup.

Metro League Division 3 to 8 will be split into Brisbane Metro League North and South zones, with Metro League Division 1 and 2 being cross river competitions.

Samford Rangers will field Men's Metro League Division 2, 3 and 6, with the possibility of extra teams being added once training commences. We will field 1 or 2 teams in the Women's Metro League, likely to be Division 3 and one higher Division to be decided.

Training nights vary depending on the team.  Games are typically held on a Saturday or Sunday although some Friday night games also get scheduled. With so many teams there is a place for everyone, no matter your football skill level or experience.  Squads are typically 16-20 players, so make sure you join our pre-season training sessions to get graded into a team.
