The health and wellbeing of all of our members and families is paramount and we have been taking advice from Government, Football Associations and discussing the impacts of Corona Virus on the 2020 season.
As you will no doubt be aware the federal government has shifted to a social distancing strategy and we have considered the current measures on our operations and season.
Training as at the 16th of March will proceed as usual with the addition of basic hygiene and awareness principles. We ask parents and players to ensure the following:
1/ Wash your hands prior to training.
2/ Bring your own labelled water bottles to Training.
3/ Do not come to training if you are Sick or symptomatic.
4/ Advise the Committee by email to email@example.com if you have been confirmed with Corona Virus or are self isolating due to high risk contact.
The committee has been working on staged and measured responses as the situation develops.
Friday 13th March, Football Brisbane cancelled all weekends games which included our planned grand opening and further communications around games will be provided as information comes to hand.
Whilst the virus represents low risk to the majority of our members we intend to act in the interests of the larger community and do our part to help protect the elderly and vulnerable.
Being fit and healthy and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important and the club will continue to support our members throughout the 2020 season.
The committee would like to thank members for your cooperation and will provide regular updates via our website and Facebook.
