This year we are seeking to establish a Junior Summer Football 6-a-side competition at Samford Parklands to provide our juniors with an offseason option.
Junior Summer Football Social Competition will kick off on Tuesday 9th October 2018 and will run for 9 weeks.
Men’s, Mixed and Master’s Summer Football Social Competition will kick off on Wednesday 10th October 2018 and will run 9 weeks.
You do not need to be a member of the Samford Rangers Football Club, all are welcome. Beginners also welcome!
The 2018 Registration fee for Junior Summer Football is $90. The 2018 Registration fee for Senior Summer Football is $90. If you are playing in both a Men’s and Mixed competition, the cost is $140 for the 9 weeks.
This is a Social competition and teams are encouraged to be comprised of players of mixed ability levels. The focus of our junior 6-a-Side Competition is FUN and having a kick around with your mates.

Referees will be provided to officiate at each Match.
Junior Teams can be comprised of the following Age Groupings:
|*U10 & U11||Born in 2007 or 2008|
|*U12 & U13||Born in 2005 or 2006|
|*U14, U15 & U16||Born in 2002 or 2003 or 2004|
*Individuals can play up an age group but cannot play down.
Registration is a two-step process:
(1) Register your Team, THEN
(2) Register yourself as an individual.
(1) How to Register your Team:
You will need to assemble your Team. There is a maximum of 8 players registered to each Junior team.
Your Team Manager is to email the tournament coordinator at email@example.com and provide:
- Team Manager Name
- Team Manager Contact Phone
- Team Manager Contact Email
- Team Name (inappropriate names will be rejected)
- Playing Group (U10/11, U12/13, U14/15/16, Men’s, Mixed, Masters)
- Player Names (Maximum of 8 – Masters can request more)
(2) Register yourself on the Samford Rangers website (Majestri) and on myfootballclub.com.au
Everyone listed in your Team will be required to individually register themselves via the Samford Rangers website (Majestri) and then complete a My Football Club Registration (FFA Number required for My Football Club Registration). See link below.
This is the same process as the regular season but when prompted in MyFootball you will need to choose either:
‘Summer Football – Juniors’
‘Summer Football – Seniors’
If you don’t have a Team to join or only have a partial team assembled, that’s ok. Send your details through to the Tournament Coordinator and you will be added to a Team.
*Please note, if we are unable to field a minimum of 4 teams in any age grouping that division will likely not go ahead and full refunds will be offered.
