With construction commencing in early 2011, it will include the bulk earthworks, construction of one large field and one smaller SSF pitch, two practice areas, main carpark, irrigation, dam works, lighting to both fields and site services reticulation.
In 2006, the Council contributed $45,000 towards our $70,000 Main Field Reconstruction Project. In 2008 they also supported the club with upgrades to the playing surfaces of our U6/7/8 and U9/10 fields.
In 2012 we were presented with the Stage 1 of facilities at Samford Parklands developed by the MBRC at cost of around $5M. MBRC continue to manage the site undertaking all field maintenance works.
