2019 Training Schedules and Field Allocations
Improving skills across the board
U9, U10 and U11 Komodo Dragon teams train twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays unless otherwise advised by your coach.
All other Miniroos Teams from U6-U11 train on Wednesdays.
All Junior Competitive Teams (U12-U16) train twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays unless otherwise advised by your coach.
Due to the increasing number of players and teams both Samford Parklands and Harold Brown Park are being utilised. Please refer to the below information for schedules and location of each.
Why training twice a week for all junior teams? We need to help all of our players become as skilful as possible so that they enjoy their football and continue to play on through their teenage years. By the lower divisions training at the same time as the higher divisions, the coaches and players of the lower teams will get assistance from to the coaches and form bonds with the players of the higher teams.

Rules for Miniroos and Junior Training
There are some important rules around training sessions for all Miniroos and Junior Teams:
- Bring Your Own Ball – U6-U9 Size 3, U10-U13 Size 4, U14+ Size 5
- Please do your very best to arrive on time for the start and finish of training. BE ON TIME.
- For the younger age groups, it is best if you can stay for the session or arrange a friend to keep an eye on your children.
Make sure that your coach is there – do not just drop your children at the carpark and drive off.
- Ring your coach if you have left the training session and are running late to pick up or arrange for a friend to take charge of your children.
Our grounds are a public facility and anyone could be there.
COACHES – PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THAT ALL YOUR TEAM HAVE SOMEONE THERE TO PICK THEM UP
