2007 Under 15 Div 3

We started the year on what could only be described as disastrous, we had not had time to gel as a squad and with new coach / manager team on board & still all getting to know each other, things could only get better.

And better they did, the players put their heads down, the coaching / management team gained more confidence and this reflected with some good results on the park.

One aspect of the year was the change in the players, their ability to try things, their attitude towards the game and to each other and most pleasing was the skill level, we believe the players became better players as the year progressed.

Overall, a very pleasing 2007. The team finished the season in 5th position out of a 10 team league, on the way giving some so called ”better” teams a surprise or two.

I cannot close without giving my thanks to each & every parent / sibling who supported the team from go to whoa, without this support, it would have been an ordinary year indeed.
