Note that if it suits, some of these tasks can be done during school hours at the Club. The Club is open between 9am and 11am every Thursday or access to the Club can be provided for other times.
Volunteers are needed to assist with pub raffles on ANY of our rostered Friday nights at the Samford Hotel. It is not a commitment to do all rostered nights. We have been allocated the following Friday nights:

Each raffle needs about 2-4 people for a couple of hours (~5–7pm) and it is fairly straight forward. Tickets are easy to sell, everything will be ready at the pub, instructions are simple and you can enjoy a couple of drinks in between.
Roster will be on a first-in basis. If you are able to assist, could you please contact Kevin Manderson to register your name, contact number and preferred date.
Assistance with serving in the canteen on Saturday mornings, or cooking sausages on the BBQ at Tuesday night training or on the week-end, are great ways to work your volunteer hours while your kids are on the park. Please show-up at the canteen at these times if you can help.
The job of ordering and taking delivery of the trophies at the end of the season Trophy Day is managed by Simon Newman however the job of organising any other forms of entertainment for the kids is where volunteers are required.
Different ideas have been implemented over the years including rides, stands and round-robin football competitions. Basically this year's volunteers are encouraged to use their imagination and go for it! Please contact Mark Halle (Squirts - U10) or Gerard Roborg-Sondergaard (u11-16) if you would like to be involved.
There are always general maintenance and clean-up jobs to be done around the club. Please contact our Facilities Director, Mick Phillips, if you can assist.
The club is always looking for ways to raise more funds for the club. If you can assist with organising fundraising events or submitting grant applications then please contact Mike Clahsen.
A first aid kit can be found on the bar in the clubhouse and injury ice packs in the freezer behind the bar. Both of these need to be routinely checked and replenished when necessary.
An annual first-aid awareness course for all coaches and managers also needs to be organised. Please contact Mike Clahsen if you can assist.
Every Thursday, a number of small routine jobs need to be performed to ensure that the club is ready for the week-end's upcoming home fixtures including:

This would usually take about 30 minutes to complete and would be ideal for a parent whose child trains on a Thursday night or can make it down to the club on Thursday mornings. Please contact Mike Clahsen if you can assist.
