Following a number of ongoing incidents in involving dogs not under the effective control of their owners, the Management Committee has had to take action to protect the many from the few. Under Paragraph 22 of “Local Law 42 – Animal Control” no person may now bring or permit dogs and other animals to be brought or roam into Harold Brown Park unless the animal is on a leash. If an animal is found not to be under effective control it will be seized and impounded by council officers contacted by the club.
This policy is as much to protect pet owners, as it is about our members, visitors and the public not being frightened or annoyed. As a pet owner, you are actually legally responsible for everything your pet does – especially when it is outside your property. Under this council law, if your pet attacks (including aggressively rushing at or attempting to attack, as well as tearing clothing, biting or causing physical injury) a person or another animal, or damages property, you, the owner, may be held liable for any damages and injuries and may face:

With the grading rounds now completed, Football Brisbane has released the composition of the final competitions (mixed and girls only) for all juniors teams for season 2009.
Please note that there are no official Junior (U11-16) Football Brisbane fixtures scheduled for this weekend. The draw for the remainder of the season should be available early next week. The U6-10 teams all play this weekend as per game schedules.
