Fixtures for the U9/10 competitions were released today along with some updates to the U6/7/8 fixtures. Note that these fixtures are likely to change during the first month of the season so please continue to check this website, the newsletter and your coach/manager for any changes. View the fixtures.
The drafts for the first four weeks of Under 6/7/8 fixtures are now available.
The Junior Grading Fixtures commencing on 28/29 March are now available. Grading fixtures are played under full competition rules and are used to help ensure that teams have been placed in the appropriate division. Teams can be moved up or down based on the results of these games. It would be timely for all coaches and managers to study the Rules of the Junior Competition.
We have an urgent need for a few more U11 players (boys or girls) or there is danger that a team may have to fold. If anyone has an U11 that has been thinking about playing or knows somebody who may be interested, please help us out. The team is suitable for beginners. There are also some vacancies in most other age groups, in particular U13's. Please contact Ian Johnson or Stephanie Boss.

There will be official referees assigned to some, but not necessarily all, games so please be prepared to supply a parent from your team to referee the game (HOME teams are obligated to supply the referees). Any official referees who are assigned to these games will need to be paid (50/50 with the opposing team).
Some clubs are still in the process of arranging teams so there may be some last minute changes to the schedule. Team Managers will be notified of any changes which will also be reflected in the schedule available from this web site.
Managers please note that official Match Sheets must be completed and posted to Football Brisbane by the HOME teams (Football Brisbane address can be found on the Match Sheet). However, scores do not need to be phoned through to Football Brisbane.
There are to be no centrally organised friendly matches for this Sunday 15 March as previously anticipated. The organisers advise that there were a number of late withdrawals last weekend causing frustration and disappointment. They feel that the teams need more time to get organised. Matches will be organised for Sunday 22 March. Coaches and Managers of some teams may arrange their own friendlies for this weekend so please check with your team's Coach or Manager.
