Some minor adjustments have been made to the Training Schedule to provide for the actual squads we now formed have following sign on and announcement days. From this point on any requests for training changes can only be changed by application to the Management Committee. Please send requests to Graham Lee.
Team Announcement Day will be held this Saturday the 21st of February and is when players will find-out which team they have been allocated to. It is essential that a parent⁄guardian attends Team Announcement Day so that they can meet the other parents⁄guardians from the team; select the team’s Coach, Manager and Match Reporter.
There are two team announcements: Squirts - under 10 at 4pm and under 11-16 at 5:30pm. These will be held in conjunction with a Fun Day including food, drinks, a giant inflatable football field and a couple of senior men’s pre-season fixtures against Kawana (5pm and 7pm kick-offs).
Further to last year's hugely successful 35 Year Reunion, we invite you to our 2009 Senior Men’s opening fixture match on Saturday March 14 (note that this date has changed from that previously advertised as the competition draw was redone by Football Brisbane last week) against Kangaroo Point Rovers (5pm kick-off for Reserves, 7pm for the Main Game).
We hope this will now become an Annual Old Boys Night. Come along and catch-up again with old friends!
Junior Grading for under 11 to 16 (including the girls' teams) commences today. Check-out our Events Calendar to find-out what day/time you need to show-up. Note that, unlike in previous years, under 9 ⁄ 10 players are no longer graded as directed by Football Brisbane.
The late addition of Redlands to the Men's Premier Division 2 competition has meant that the draw is currently being redone by Football Brisbane. The Annual Old Boys Night will still coincide with the first home fixture however the exact date will not be known until the draw has been completed.
