The Management Committee has appointed Ms Stephanie Boss to the advertised salaried vacancy of Club Bookkeeper / Registrar. Through her appointment, Stephanie delivers the very specific skills, expertise and regular time commitment required for a club of our size which is no longer possible through the traditional volunteer approach. Also bringing the Registrar and Bookkeeper functions together greatly reduces duplication of effort for the clubs key revenue source.
Stephanie will immediately begin work on ensuring that a management and reporting system is in place and operable so the Club Management Committee has an accurate understanding of the financial and administrative status of the Club at all times; and that the clubs available funds are used most effectively through financial planning and management practices. Welcome aboard Stephanie.
Our Annual General Meeting will be held at our clubhouse at Richards Rd. Samford at 7:30pm on Monday the 17th of November 2008. With some of the existing committee members retiring from the committee after a number of years service to the club, all members are urged to seriously consider nominating for a position on the incoming committee for the rapidly approaching 2009 season. Feel free to browse through the various Committee Position Descriptions and the club's Organisational Structure. Please forward any nominations to our secretary by Monday the 3rd of November 2008 with candidates names posted on this web site on the 10th of November.
