Well done to all the players, parents, guardians and team assistants who worked so hard on and off the field this year. You have done yourselves and the Club proud. It’s hard to believe that the season is already over for all of our U6 to U10 teams, and half of our U11 to U16 teams and Senior / Over 35 teams.
A special congratulations to our U14 BJL and U13 Girls Div 3 teams for winning their respective competitions. Well done to everyone associated with these teams – you have done yourselves and Club proud. It is an especially great achievement for our club to be able to say we have the strongest U14 club team in Brisbane.
Also great to see 5 of our 6 Girls/Women’s teams make the finals. Great effort to our U15 Girls who missed out on winning their competition only by goal difference.
The teams representing the club in the finals are: U11 Div 7, U12 Div 4, U13 Girls Div 3, U14 Div 3, U14 BJL, U14 Girls Div 1, U15 BJL, U15 Girls, U16 Girls Div 3 and Women Div 4. Good luck in the finals to all teams.
Well done also to some teams who were very unlucky to only just miss out, including U12 Div 6 who it seems may have missed out due an ineligible player taking part in a game not involving Samford. We are still waiting for confirmation on that one.
The Senior Men’s Youth, Premier League and Premier League Reserves teams are not in the running for the finals but fought hard all season battling a terrible injury run. The two Over 35’s teams still have another three weeks of fixtures before the commencement of their finals in October.
