The Rules of Competition for Juniors (U11-16) for Girls and Mixed teams is now available from the Coaches & Managers page (click the link on the left of this page). All coaches and managers, please study these rules very carefully as non-compliance can cost your team loss of competition points and/or a fine. Some significant changes from last year include home teams sending in the match sheets (instead of the referees), not being able to borrow players between girls and mixed teams and the need to have two linesmen in place before a match can proceed. Please note that for the Grading rounds, and apart from the BJL players, the rules for borrowing players does not apply.
Our web site has been reorganised in readiness for the junior season which commences this week-end. The "Fixtures & Results" link in the menu to the left of this page will direct you to the fixture lists for all of the teams. Please note that the Senior Women's fixture season does not commence until 4/5/6 April (ie. no game this week-end) and the under 6/7/8 fixture list has changed (since last week).
Our Directors of Coaching, Garry Bromfield and Arno Tretter, will be conducting the first Coaching Clinic for the season this coming Monday night (17th of March) at our home ground at Richards Rd. There will be two sessions on the night with Rooball (under 6-10) from 6pm to 7pm to be followed by the older teams from 7:15pm to 8:15pm. All coaches and any interested parents are welcome to attend.
The fixture list for the first six week-ends of the Under 6/7/8 season can be found by clicking on the appropriate link - Under 6, Under 7 or Under 8. As this is not only our first season of Small-Sided Games, but also our first in-house competition, some teething problems are expected which may lead to changes to the fixture list in the first few weeks.

Note that Football Brisbane has reassigned some of our teams to different divisions. These are the teams affected - U11 Div 1 now Div 2, U11 Div 6 now Div 7, U12 Div 1 now Div 2, U16 Div 3 now Div 2, Girls U12 Div 3 now Div 2, Girls U15 Div 1 now Girls U15 A, Girls U15 Div 3 now Girls U15 B (there is only one Girls U15 Competition).
There will be official referees assigned to some, but not necessarily all, games so please be prepared to supply a parent from your team to referee the game (HOME teams are obligated to supply the referees). Any official referees who are assigned to these games will need to be paid (50/50 with the opposing team).
Some clubs are still in the process of arranging teams so there may be some last minute changes to the schedule. Team Managers will be notified of any changes which will also be reflected in the schedule available from this web site.
Managers please note that official Match Sheets must be completed and posted to Football Brisbane by the HOME teams (Football Brisbane address can be found on the Match Sheet). However, scores do not need to be phoned through to Football Brisbane.
