Yesterday was Samford Rangers FC Sign-on Day, and what a day it proved to be, with many returning members along with lots of new playing members joining the club to play in the 2018 season.
As a committee, we decided to hold the club sign-on day earlier than previous years to ensure that we are fully prepared for the new season, and we have received some positive feedback across the board, and the results are showing. So far we have approx. 40% of our players already registered and signed on for the new season and 73% of memberships paid in full (based on previous years numbers)
SRFC Committee wishes to thank all returning and new players, volunteers and sponsors for their ongoing support to the club and we thought yesterday was so beneficial to assist with answering questions and helping members with the registration process. I think a special mention goes to all of our volunteers that sat behind computers and assisted with player registrations – you all did an awesome job, and I think greatly aided sign on for the club but more importantly our members.
It was also fantastic to see many of our sponsors at the club providing members with details of what their business offers the SRFC members and the local community, and we really can’t thank you all enough for your ongoing support of the club. We will be organising a sponsors network evening in the coming weeks to recognise you all and discuss our plans for the club moving forward.
This year as part of completing your registration, we have provided all players with training kits (shirt, shorts and socks) and it was just great to see the kids (and some of our seniors) faces when they received their training kit for the new season.
Below are three proud SRFC players in their new training kits – Lincoln, Jenson and Tyrone – Looking very dapper!
